Business Insights: Market Risk and Trading at an Investment Bank

Join the third session of Business Insights for T2 with Chris Collins, Senior Vice President at Citi. 

Chris will dive into what it means to work in market risk and trading functions of an investment bank. He’ll share the similarities and differences between the investment banking industry the funds management industry and other types of banking.   

The session will cover topics including stress testing upcoming central bank decisions, economic data releases and their potential impact on the market, trading limits and bespoke trade management or hedging, and compliance with regulatory obligations.  

About the speaker: 
Chris is a Senior Vice President at Citi, working in Market Risk with oversight of Australian G10 Rates and Equities. His previous experience includes working at Deloitte as a consultant to asset managers, superannuation funds and government investment agencies; and at Nikko Asset Management as an Investment Risk Manager. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Information Technology, a Master of Applied Finance and Investment and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (GARP).
