Alain Balaguer Mercado
About
Alain is interested in the intersection between sustainable development and business. His research addresses the psychological factors that influence decision making regarding Sustainability in Supply Chains. Before his postgraduate studies he was closely involved in the Family Business field, where he worked in several research and consulting projects. He has experience in corporate governance and managerial consulting in large and medium size family businesses in México.
He has a master's degree on Sustainability Science and Technology from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). His bachelor's degree is in Mechanical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
