Research Area
His main focus area has been the impact of antecedent rainfall and drought on wildfire severity in eastern Australia. Following the unprecedented 2019-20 fire season he developed a rainfall-based index – Dennison Bushfire Index (DBI). The title of his PhD is Prediction of wildfire potential over seasonal timescales using rainfall-based indices.
