I graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science in 2018. After doing marine biology research in Greece for six months, I returned to do a Master of Environmental Management at UNSW. I completed this in 2022 after finishing my thesis. From this work, I have been researching with my supervisors Dr Miri Raven and Prof Daniel Robinson. We published a paper at the start of 2024 titled ‘Towards a Fairer and More Equitable Bushfoods Industry: access and benefit-sharing and certification frameworks’, collaborating with my fellow MEM graduate Laura Trueb. As I begin my PhD, I’m lucky enough to be continuing my research with my supervisors, and taking on Teaching Assistant roles within the MEM.

Indigenous Traditional Knowledge related to bush foods and botanicals, and their possible use in the Australian carbon market.
