Lanxin is a PhD student at the School of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, UNSW Business School. She holds a Master of Professional Accounting (Extension) from UNSW and undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Jurisprudence.

Her doctoral research focuses on financial accounting, capital markets, and regulatory governance, with a particular interest in how information environments and institutional frameworks shape firm behaviour, market outcomes, and investor decision-making. Building on traditional accounting foundations, her research extends to emerging areas, including sustainability accounting, carbon disclosure, and the role of artificial intelligence in corporate transparency and governance.
