Lu Wang is a PhD candidate in the School of Management and Governance at the UNSW Business School. Her research, which employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, centers on how individuals use social influence to promote social equity in the workplace and the psychological processes that underlie such influence. Her research interests are diverse and particularly include investigating issues related to workplace diversity, such as the mechanisms that perpetuate the disadvantaged status of certain groups in the organization. Additionally, Lu's research explores topics such as morality, emotion, and moral leadership.

In addition to her research, Lu has gained experience as a teaching assistant in the MBA and International MBA programs at the University of International Business and Economics Business School. She has also served as a research assistant and casual academic at UNSW.
