Michelle is a PhD student in the School of Management and Governance. Her research interests lie at the intersection of international business, geopolitics and nonmarket strategy. Her dissertation examines how individuals and organisations navigate geopolitical tensions, with a focus on the Australian context. Prior to starting her PhD, she spent seven years working in international sales, marketing and brand management within the health and beauty industry, where she led global innovation and brand strategies. She is also passionate about teaching and has taught undergraduate courses in marketing and innovation, where she integrates her industry experience with academic theory to create practical learning environments.
