As a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and practical industry experience to my research pursuits. I completed my Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at UNSW, where my thesis, titled “Implementing Circular Economy Strategies in Prefabricated Timber Construction in Response to Climate Change”, explored key aspects of sustainable construction and circular economy practices within the built environment. With a strong interest in the intersection of sustainable practices and digital technologies in the construction sector, my research focuses on the implementation of circular economy principles in modern timber construction methods. My journey in academia and industry has equipped me with a diverse skill set, developed through active involvement in a range of research and applied projects. Notably, I contributed as a Research Assistant to a university initiative aimed at innovating timber construction systems. In this role, I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, supporting the design of experiments, conducting data collection, and performing detailed analysis. My holistic research approach, combined with a strong motivation to advance sustainable practices in the built environment, continues to shape my academic trajectory. Through my research, I aim to contribute to the development of innovative strategies and decision-support tools that facilitate circular material use and sustainable transformation within the construction industry.
