About

I am a first year MRes student in the School of Science at UNSW Canberra, supervised by Dr Thomas Oliver, Dr Alissa Flatley, and Dr Mark Hoggard (ANU). My research reconstructs Holocene relative sea-level change along the southeastern Australian margin, combining coastal fieldwork, stratigraphic coring, and Glacial Isostatic Adjustment modelling. My background spans glacial geomorphology in the Himalaya and global-scale sea-level simulation. I am keen to bridge the gap between field-based and model-based sea-level research, using observations from the field to test and refine what the models predict.

Holocene relative sea-level and paleoenvironmental change along the southeastern Australian passive margin. The project develops high-resolution sea-level index points from raised beach deposits within strandplains, using coastal geomorphology, stratigraphic coring, multi-proxy geochronology, and GIA modelling.
