Özlem is a PhD candidate at UNSW Business School’s School of Management and Governance, where her research sits at the intersection of organisations and society. Her academic work is grounded in humanistic management and draws on interdisciplinary perspectives to examine the interplay of institutional and organisational systems in fostering human flourishing. She is particularly interested in how workplaces shape experiences of dignified livelihoods for marginalised populations and vulnerable workers. Through her research, she aims to contribute to the development of more sustainable and equitable systems that advance not only workplace inclusion but also broader societal flourishing.
