Vindya Marian Cooray

Marian comes from a multi-disciplinary background being a CPA Australia member and a Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining UNSW she served as a Chief Bancassurance officer and Vice President - Finance in a Sri Lankan conglomerate. She holds experience in travel and tourism, hospitality and insurance industries. She also served as a visiting lecturer for professional qualifications and for MBA program affliated with Staffordshire University, UK. Having received several awards for her contribution in women and youth empowerment, she is interested in workplace climate research enabling individuals to reach their potential.

Her interests include diversity, equity and inclusion, workplace climate and high performance work systems.
