Hanne Hu is a doctoral researcher with an interdisciplinary background in education, psychology, and applied linguistics. She completed her dual-degree undergraduate program in Melbourne and later pursued both her postgraduate studies and PhD training at UNSW, where she was recognised on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. Her research interests include cognitive load theory, second language acquisition, and behavioural interventions in atypical development. She specialises in quantitative and mixed-methods research, with a particular enthusiasm for experimental design. She works comfortably with a range of analytical tools, including SPSS, R, and NVivo, and enjoys translating complex data into meaningful educational insights. Alongside her academic work, Hanne is involved in the development of teacher education curricula and assessment systems at a global AI technology company. She contributes to global education initiatives as a member of the drafting group for a World Digital Education Alliance standard. In addition, she is a registered teacher in NSW and holds a senior high school teaching certificate in China, reflecting her cross-national teaching credentials. She previously taught at a private school in Sydney. She welcomes opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and is always open to engaging with researchers and practitioners in related fields.
