About
Yi-Ling is a Post-doctoral Research Associate working with Professor Steve Sherwood. Her research interest lies in the use of computing and big data analysis methods in climate modelling. Specifically, her current project concerns the development of a testbed to facilitate the testing and potential improvement of convective parameterisations in atmospheric models.
She has a background in engineering and her PhD research focused on the use of machine learning to study the processes and outcomes of space and astrobiology related communications on social media.
