Session 1: LinkedIn - Tips and guidance to developing a professional platform

Details: The instructor will take you through the various elements of LinkedIn, including the privacy settings and how to connect to Alumni and locate jobs. You will also be guided on how to post an article or post.

Session 2: Key components of an effective CV and considerations of selection criteria for jobs in health and public health
Date: Tuesday 20th May 2025

Details: You will be guided through an exemplar CV and components. What to include and what not to include. You will also be provided with examples of selection criteria and how to address these for job applications in public/ population health positions.

Session 3: Mastering interview techniques
Date: Wednesday 21st May 2025

Details: You will be guided through effective interview techniques and how to be successful in an interview. You will also be guided to address common behavioural questions.

Session 4: Drop-in session (application of your knowledge)
Date: Friday 23rd May 2025
Time: 2pm-4pm
Mode: In person event, held in Room 305, Level 3, Samuels Building
Details: You will have the opportunity to have your draft CV critiqued by the instructor and any further questions related to the previous sessions including LinkedIn can be addressed here during this session. If time persists, we can practice mock interviews during this session.
