Just announced is an
APA Top-up Scholarship in Global Optimization

A generous top-up scholarship is available for a PhD student in the area of optimization. It is awarded to a holder of an Australian Postgraduate Award or University Postgraduate Award, and is valued at $8000 per year (currently Tax free), with a further $3000 per year for approved travel and research support. The award will be based on APA and UPA applications and no separate application is necessary. Holders of EIPRS or similar awards may also be considered on a case by case basis.

The successful candidate will be working under the supervision of A/Prof V. Jeyakumar. The project will focus on the development of mathematical theory and numerical methods for solving global optimization problems.
The project is funded by the Australian Research Council Discovery Project Grant Scheme.
