MASCOS was a partner in a major international workshop on rock mechanics and logistics in mining, held in Santiago, Chile, Feb 26 - Mar 3 2007. MASCOS particularly contributed its expertise in optimization of mining operations. A memorandum of understanding was signed by MASCOS and the host centre CMM
