The ARC Centre of Excellence for Mathematics and Statistics of Complex Systems has several postdoctoral positions available, tenable at UNSW. The areas and supervising researchers are:

  1. Ergodic theory and dynamical systems (Dooley).
  2. Harmonic analysis on Lie groups and symmetric spaces (Dooley).
  3. Predictability and dynamics of Australian climate extremes (England).
  4. Stability and variability of the ocean's thermohaline circulation (England).
  5. Dynamical systems and smooth ergodic theory (Froyland).
  6. Large scale integer programming and stochastic integer programming (Froyland).
  7. Quasi-Monte Carlo methods for numerical integration and approximation in high dimensions, and stochastic applications (Sloan).
  8. Approximation and PDEs on spheres and manifolds - theory and applications (Sloan).
