Following on its success in previous years we are pleased to offer the course Statistical Methods for Researchers again in Semester 2, 2008.
This semester the course will run in a 2-day format during the mid-semester break on Wednesday 1st October and Thursday 2nd October, 2008. Participants have rated the course highly and found it to be very useful in their research.
Statistical Methods for Researchers is designed as an overview of statistical design and analysis for researchers. Emphasis is on understanding the concepts of statistical procedures (with an absolute minimum of Mathematics) and on interpreting computer output. This course is designed to help you, the researcher. It assumes you did an undergraduate statistics subject which you have completely forgotten.
For supervisors wishing to include this course as part of their graduate student’s course requirements we can provide formal assessment.
