The Department of Statistics is seeking an appointment at a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. The Department's current research strengths are in Bayesian Statistics, Biostatistics, Financial Mathematics, Nonparametrics and Stochastic Analysis. Applicants who can strengthen or complement these areas of expertise are welcome to apply. Applicants should have:
 
  • PhD in Statistics, Probability and Stochastic Processes, or related area;
  • strong commitment to independent research and be able to teach a wide range of courses offered in the School;
  • ability to supervise research projects in the School's undergraduate and postgraduate programs;
  • proven skills in research and research leadership, strong publication records and a commitment to teaching and course development of the highest standard.
