Congratulations to Speed Thesis competitors

Congratulations to all of the PhD students who participated in the recent Faculty of Science Postgraduate Research competition.

This competition involved students giving a 1-minute presentation overviewing their thesis work as well as a more detailed poster presentation.

Nearly 15 students from the School participated in the event, and all performed very well.

Special congratulations go to Bridget Callaghan and Lynette Roberts for being awarded prizes by the Faculty for their performance.

Bridget was awarded a 1st place prize (and $5000) while Lynette was awarded a 2nd place prize (and $3000).
