Studying mathematics can lead to a bright future, says the Australian Financial Review

An article in the Australian Financial Review describes how mathematics and statistics graduates are highly sought after by employers. Prof. Jim Franklin, who was interviewed for the piece, discusses the high uptake of the School's Advanced Mathematics with Commerce double degree, which was first offered last year. Prof. Franklin says that the students in this degree program "are going to be the leaders of the finance and business world.”
