Here is further proof that the University of New South Wales is one of the world’s premier institutions for mathematics and statistics!
The recently released QS World University Rankings for 2012 place UNSW in the top 50 universities worldwide for the category Natural Sciences – Mathematics.
UNSW Mathematics is ranked 44th in the world, and is among only three Australian universities to attain a top 50 QS rating in this category.
According to QS, the 2012 QS World University Ranking for Mathematics “lists the best universities in the world to study mathematics” and includes those which “performed the best in mathematics this year”.
