Professor Prasad spoke about the importance of low carbon living and the issues that surround the transition to a lower-carbon future.  He referenced a global and Australian context and discussed the lower-carbon possibilities that are within reach as well as the role that national research initiatives, such as the recently established UNSW Co-operative Research Centre for Lower Carbon Living will play in enabling a lower-carbon future. Professor Prasad concluded with some very interesting visions for a lower carbon future.
