CSRH awarded major grant

CSRH, in conjunction with the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC), has been awarded a competitive UNSW 2013 Major Research Equipment and Infrastructure Initiative (MREII) grant.

The grant will fund the creation of a joint multi-disciplinary research hub to support the development, conduct, compliance and accessibility of qualitative and quantitative social science research and dissemination activities.

CSRH Director John de Wit welcomed the new opportunities that this grant represents. “Together the two centres will be able to look at improving the way we go about managing and promoting our research projects”, he said. “We are looking forward to putting together this collaborative effort which we hope will allow greater scope for both synergies and new initiatives in our research”.
