New appointments

The School is delighted to announce two outstanding new appointments in the School.

Professor Igor Shparlinski, FAA, FAustMS, will join us in July 2013 as Professor of Pure Mathematics. Professor Shparlinski's previous position was at Macquarie University, where his career progressed over two decades.

In January 2014, Professor Pierre Del Moral will take up a position in the School as Professor of Statistics. Professor Del Moral will join us from Paris, where he is currently Professor, Applied Mathematical Center at Polytechnique Paris.

We look forward to welcoming Professor Shparlinski and Professor Del Moral to UNSW.
