School promotions: Peter Brown and Feng Chen

The School of Mathematics and Statistics is pleased to announce the following School promotions, effective 1 July 2013:
Promotion to Senior Lecturer
Peter Brown
Peter Brown has been with the School since 1990, and is currently the School's Director of First Year Mathematics. He is a very popular lecturer who received the Vice Chancellor's Teaching Excellence Award in 2009.
Feng Chen
Dr Feng Chen has worked in the School for five years, and is the current Honours Coordinator for Statistics. He also works with the Nonparametric Statistics research group in the School.
