MathSoc Q+A held in School

Around 20 students gathered for a Q+A session hosted by MathSoc (UNSW Mathematics Society) yesterday afternoon. The forum featured three School academic staff members - Dr Catherine Greenhill, Dr Chris Tisdell, and A/Prof David Warton - who fielded questions from the students. 
Topics discussed included PhD study, job opportunities post-graduation, the importance of good communication, scholarships, and the students' interests.
Attendees enjoyed a pizza lunch, and had the opportunity for some one-on-one discussion with the staff members.
