Have you, your carer, or someone you care for ever undertaken a do-it-yourself home modification project?

Was the modification a grab rail, hand-held shower, level access shower recess, ramp, handrail, or something else?

We would like to invite you to complete a short survey so that we can better understand why people choose to do home modifications DIY. More importantly, we want to know if home modifications done in this manner have made a difference to your quality of life.

The research aims to develop resources to assist people with disability and their carers undertake do-it-yourself home modification projects safely and appropriately.

This research is being undertaken by the Home Modification Information Clearinghouse at the University of New South Wales, with funding from Ageing, Disability and Home Care, NSW Department of Family and Community Services. UNSW Ethics Approval no. 145013
