Video room opening
Yesterday we hosted the official opening of our new state-of-the-art digital teaching and research studio.

The ceremony was attended by Faculty of Science Dean Merlin Crossley and Associate Dean (Education) Julian Cox, plus a gathering of School staff members. The studio, which features an editing suite and cutting-edge equipment, enables us to take our online learning and research initiatives to the next level.

The ceremony, which featured an official cutting of the ribbon by Professor Merlin Crossley cuts ribbonCrossley, was followed by a Learning and Teaching Seminar, "Videos for teaching and research: An introduction to our new studio RC4092 and its capabilities".

Professor Crossley gave an opening speech, praising the School for its trailblazing innovations in the online domain, and Dr Chris Tisdell and A/Professor Norman Wildberger gave an overview of the new video room and its capabilities to more than 30 School staff. They also warmly thanked the Faculty for its immense support in setting up the studio.
