A prize giving ceremony for exceptional mathematics and statistics students was hosted in the Staff Common Room on Friday 30th May.
An informal lunch, attended by award recipients and School staff members, was also held.
16 prizes were conferred to students for their outstanding academic performance during 2013. Deputy Head of School John Roberts delivered a welcome address, and commended the students for their hard work and academic excellence.
The ceremony was also attended by Josh Fisher of Weatherzone, which sponsors two of the prizes. He presented these prizes to awardees Tomas Beuzen and Tristan Meyers.
Standout students in 2013 were Wen Jia Liu and Edward McDonald, who each won three prizes. Both were also prize winners last year.
Prize recipients who were unable to attend the ceremony were also ackowledged, with A/Prof Roberts reading out their names and corresponding awards.
Congratulations to all of the prize winners!
