Graduate Hany Armanious is one of three artists selected to create a public artwork for the City of Sydney.

Armanious joins Japanese artist Junya Ishigami and British artist Tracey Emin who were selected from over 700 expressions of interest from 25 countries.

The artworks are the first projects from the City’s $9.3 million City Centre Public Art Plan and are expected to be installed from 2017.

Hany Armanious’s work Pavilion is a replica of a blue milk crate measuring 13.7 metres high and will be installed in Belmore Park next to Central station.
