Students & alumni finalists in Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2014

Congratulations to our students and graduates who are finalists in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2014.

Fiona Lowry, Jason Phu, Wendy Sharpe, Joanna Braithwaite, Mariola Smarzak and Mike Barnard are all finalists in the Archibald Prize. The Archibald Prize is one of Australia’s most prestigious, awarded to the best portrait painting.  

Tim Silver and Tony Costa are finalists in the Wynne Prize. The Wynne Prize is awarded for the best landscape of Australian scenery in oils or watercolours or for the best example of figure sculpture by Australian artists.

Henry Curchod and Fiona Lowry are finalists in the Sulman Prize. The Sulman Prize is given to the best subject painting, genre painting or mural project in oil, acrylic, watercolour or mixed media.

The finalists exhibition opens 19 July and runs until 28 September, 2014.
