This morning UNSW Built Environment Dean Prof Alec Tzannes, welcomed students from 27 universities from around the world to the U21 Summer School.
Hosted by UNSW Built Environment, this year’s theme is Shaping the Future City, providing the opportunity for local students to gain an international perspective on urbanisation. They will attend field trips around the city to visit award-winning buildings and urban landscapes and explore the concept of ‘Remaking the city’ with an overnight stay at Cockatoo Island.
Students will have access to facilities across UNSW Australia, and will be housed on campus during their stay. They will also have to opportunity to enjoy Sydney’s beaches and urban parklands, as well as cultural activities in and around the city.
