Congratulations to UNSW Art & Design lecturer Selena Griffith and artist Paul Miller (DJ Spooky) who run the Island Innovation Lab project.
The Lab has been acknowledged by the Challenge Review Committee of the Buckminster Fuller Institute as making an important contribution to the growing field of whole systems design and has been selected for inclusion in their Catalyst Program.
The Island Innovation Lab creates a space where people with diverse skills and interests come together to innovate creative and multidisciplinary responses to issues such as climate change, sea level rise, food security and renewable energy.
Current student Charlotte Haywood undertook the Island Innovation Lab and her blog documents the experience.
