More than 50 works on semi-permanent loan from the Collection of Patrick Corrigan AM have recently gone on display across UNSW Art & Design’s Paddington campus.

This generous initiative ensures UNSW students, staff and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy, study and work alongside outstanding art by a wide selection of leading Indigenous artists. A significant number of paintings are hung prominently in the UNSW Paddington Library, the foyer to UNSW Galleries, the Student Centre and the Elwyn Lynn Conference Centre.

Mr. Corrigan is among Australia’s leading philanthropists and has made a remarkably generous contribution to the cultural life of the nation. His passionate support for artists has been demonstrated through longstanding commitments to individuals and institutions. Mr. Corrigan is an important supporter of a number of Australia’s leading institutions, including among others; UNSW Art & Design, the Art Gallery of NSW, Gold Coast Arts Centre, Bond University, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Australia and the National Gallery of Victoria.

The UNSW community is deeply appreciative of Mr. Corrigan’s generosity.
