50 Awards presented at the A&D Annual 14

More than fifty awards are being announced as part of UNSW Art & Design’s graduate exhibition and screening this week. 

Generously supported by individuals and industry partners the awards recognise outstanding work and achievement by graduates across all media. 

In 2014 an exciting new award has been initiated by the prestigious Royal Doulton company which is a leading portfolio of luxury brands for the tabletop, giftware and home décor. This new initiative is an Australian first and will see six finalists compete for a generous cash prize and to be selected to have their design produced as part of one of Royal Doulton's product ranges. 

Among many other award highlights during the week there are prizes presented by distinguished alumni Dinosaur Designs, the Australian Centre for Photography, Frost, NAVA, Kayell Australia, Longina Phillips, Space and Object.

The awards are a testament to the art, media and design industry’s regard for UNSW Art & Design graduates and they provide invaluable support for emerging talent just as students commence their careers.
