UNSW Galleries and Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation (SCAF) will present two major exhibitions by Shaun Gladwell in March 2015.

Collection+: Shaun Gladwell will be exhibited at UNSW Galleries and feature over 20 works spanning the artist’s career and practice. Curated by Dr Barbara Polla and Prof. Paul Ardenne, it will be presented across all three exhibition spaces of UNSW Galleries.

A major new commission The Lacrima Chair will be exhibited at SCAF. The Lacrima Chair (SCAF Project 24) will feature a site-specific and visually compelling, immersive installation by Gladwell comprising sculpture and video.

Gladwell completed a Master of Fine Arts at UNSW Art & Design and was represented for 9 years by Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation’s previous incarnation, Sherman Galleries (1986-2007).

The exhibition opens on Thursday, 5 March, 6-8pm and will run 6 March – 25 April, 2015 at UNSW Galleries and SCAF.
