The Future of Art & Design is Revealed

Next Tuesday evening is your chance to explore the future of Australian art and design. Between 6-8pm, the graduating cohort of 2014 will show you their talents. Ranging from digital installations and animation, to furniture and jewellery, to sculpture, photography and painting, the ANNUAL 14 offers depth and breadth of creative exploration.
One of the unique aspects of this graduation exhibition at UNSW Art & Design is that you, the viewer, get to see the works exhibited in the environment that fostered and developed the skills on display.
In many ways the ANNUAL is a showcase of the educational process itself, one wherein skills and expertise are passed from one generation of creative practitioners to the next. It’s also importantly an opportunity to see how emerging artists and designers have re-interpreted their chosen mediums of design, digital media and fine arts.
The ANNUAL marks the final stage of study for more than 300 final year students. The opening of the ANNUAL 14 is the culmination of all their years of work and refinement of process. They are Australia’s future of art and design practice.
