The Financial Times (UK) Global MBA Rankings 2015 have again recognised AGSM @ UNSW Business School in their annual top 100 list. Listed at number 75, this is the 16th consecutive year AGSM has ranked in the top 100 MBA programs worldwide and is one of three Australian business schools to be included in the prestigious FT Ranking.

Deputy Dean and Director AGSM, Professor Julie Cogin said: "We are pleased to have maintained a position in the top 100 despite an increasingly competitive market. It is clear that our MBA program aims to help ambitious professionals prepare for the challenges of a fast-paced global environment and our continual inclusion in these rankings over the last two decades highlights how we are giving great people the opportunity to excel right across the world.

Professor Cogin said she was also really pleased that the AGSM was ranked 6th in the world for the international mobility they provided graduates and 9th in the world for the international experience that the MBA provides. "AGSM students and industry partners benefit exponentially from the international experiences the program provides. Our new partnership with Fudan University for a joint MBA will further strengthen AGSM's two-way engagement in Asia.

"We are obviously disappointed that our ranking is lower than last year and we are taking time to analyse the results closely to identify areas of improvement. Equally, we believe that rankings are not the only measure of a school's success.

The FT Rankings have strict entry criteria and are based on a survey that consists of two parts; one that evaluates alumni, and the other, the school. The alumni surveyed this year were the 2012 MBA cohort. For schools to be ranked, 20% of alumni must complete the survey.

This is an incredibly exciting time for AGSM and this week heralds the biggest change to our program delivery since AGSM opened its doors nearly 39 years ago.

We have listened to feedback from alumni and students and honoured our commitment to respond to the new ways people learn. Signifying an important step towards a high-quality education experience, digital course content is being created for the iPad that will deliver a more interactive, visually appealing and technologically-enabled experience using significantly less paper."

Further demonstrating that AGSM continually leads the way when it comes to innovative programs offered by GO8 universities, the School recently announced it will welcome students to an online MBA - known as the MBAx – from July 2015.
