Finalists Announced for John Fries Award 2015

Fifteen emerging artists have been announced as finalists in the John Fries Award 2015.
The annual John Fries Award presents new and experimental works from emerging Australian and New Zealand artists.
UNSW Art & Design students and graduates Kelly Doley, Tim Bruniges, Tully Arnot, Giselle Stanborough and Leo Coyte are finalists, alongside Erin Coates, Georgie Roxby Smith, Eloise Kirk, Kenneth Merrick, Archie Moore, Darcell Apelu, Ben Ward, Will French, Vincent Namatjira and Biljana Jancic.
The selected artists work across painting, sculpture, installation, video and live performance.
UNSW Galleries will host the finalists exhibition 5 September – 7 November, 2015. The winner of the award’s $10,000 prize money will be announced on opening night on Friday, 4 September.
