UNSW Art & Design graduate Janet Laurence has been selected to participate in Artists 4 Paris Climate Change 2015.

The event will see major contemporary artists from around the world exhibit work in public spaces around Paris and near the site of the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

During the event, a charity auction of artworks from the exhibiting artists will be conducted by international auction house Christie’s, together with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), in support of actions against climate change and desertification.

Janet Laurence’s practice examines the interconnection of life forms and ecologies and observes the impact that humans have on the threatened, natural world.  She creates immersive environments that navigate the interconnections between all living forms.
