Trent Jansen launches furniture range
Published on the 20 Apr 2015
Master of Philosophy student Trent Jansen has recently launched Make Do, a new range of furniture with Australian company Urban Art Projects.
The Make Do Bench and Seat are influenced by the make do attitude that was born on the Australian frontier during the 19th Century. The objects adopt a simple making technique, cradling a log in a series of wedges, in order to provide a humble seating surface.
Each component of the Make Do Bench and Seat is available in a large range of materials and finishes, allowing the user to customise their bench.
The Make Do Bench and Seat can be seen in the foyer of UNSW Galleries.
More information on the range can be found here.
