Graduates finalists in 2015 Bowness Photography Prize

Congratulations to the UNSW Art & Design alumni who have been selected as finalists in the 2015 Bowness Photography Prize. 

Brook Andrew, Svetlana Bailey, Del Kathryn Barton, Cherine Fahd, Murray Fredericks, David Manley and Amanda Williams are among the 47 finalists selected by a panel of judges including internationally renowned photographer Bill Henson, gallery director Karen Quinlan and curator Stephen Zagala.

The $25,000 prize was established in 2006 to promote excellence in contemporary photography and is an initiative of the Monash Gallery of Art. It is one of Australia's most open prizes for photography, welcoming film and digital based work from emerging and established photographers.

The exhibition will run 22 September until 22 November at Monash Gallery of Art. The winner will be announced on Thursday 1 October.
