John Murray and collaborators feature in Guardian Australia video series

Professor John Murray has appeared in a short documentary, which is part of a series commissioned by The Guardian Australia featuring Australian scientists. The documentary, "No Researcher is an Island", focuses on one of Professor Murray's collaborators, Dr Geoff Symonds of Calimmune.
Professor Murray and Dr Symonds have a current ARC Linkage Grant, "Innovative mathematical modelling to determine incorporation of gene therapy in different cell lineages; Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) as a model setting". The documentary also features their PhD student Scott Ledger, who discusses the work he is doing with Calimmune on gene therapy.
Dr Symonds speaks highly of his work with UNSW collaborators: "Working with the Investigators at UNSW is of mutual benefit; they provide academic expertise, they have a great knowledge of HIV and its dynamics".
