The 2015 Sydney University Mathematical Society Problem Competition was held this month, and UNSW students swept half of the prize pool.

Our students Terence Harris (Honours), Paulus Sujono (1st year), and Matthew Di Meglio (1st year) collectively took four of the eight prizes up for grabs, for their correct solutions.

This placed them ahead of other competing institutions, with USyd students winning three, and a University of Western Australia student collecting one.

The annual competition is open to undergraduates, including Honours students, at any Australian university or tertiary institution.

Congratulations to our students!
