The intensive one week Leadership, Education, Association, and Development (LEAD) program is open to postgraduate coursework students from all disciplines at the UNSW Business School.
Shahid Majeed, Manager, Graduate Student Development Office, says the aim of the program is to provide students with the chance to develop their leadership skills, interpersonal skills and professional networks.
Students are selected for entry to the program via an interview and application process.
"LEAD is the flagship leadership development program of the UNSW Australia Business School which is a unique program because it complements leadership and professional skills development workshops and networking events with a residential leadership camp to reinforce workshop learning," he says.
During the week students will attend a range of interactive workshops with over 20 speakers from major professional organisations along with inspirational leaders.
An important component of the program is a weekend leadership and team building camp where participants will be required to lead teams and handle challenging tasks.
The program will run from Monday 28th September to Sunday 4th October.
