As the global economy becomes increasingly innovation-driven and Asia-centred, the UNSW Innovation Summit 2015 will examine what Australian business, industry, academia, and government need to do to compete successfully in the new world order.

The Summit on Friday 18thSeptember 2015 provides a forum for innovators to meet and exchange ideas, explore mutual interests for collaboration, and form research and professional networks.

Professor Joe Cheng, the Michael J. Crouch Chair in Innovation at the UNSW Business School and Director of the Australian Innovation & Competitiveness Initiative says “it will be a fascinating day. This interactive one-day Summit is an opportunity to hear from renowned international and Australian thought leaders, and to participate in roundtable groups to develop an action agenda to reinvent Australia for global competitiveness.”

Participants will also have opportunities to engage in Q&A with expert speakers and network during and after the formal program

Keynote speakers include: 
  • Mr. Robbert Rietbroek, the Managing Director & CEO of Kimberly-Clark Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
  • The Honorable John Berry, U.S. Ambassador to Australia.
  • Dr. Mirjana Prica, Managing Director of Food Innovation Australia Ltd.
