In 2013, Raj Agnihotri, then a senior engineer working on major construction projects, applied and was accepted for the AGSM MBA (Executive,) a part-time MBA program catering to busy executives. "I came to a point where I realised a good grounding in business was necessary to take my career in the direction I wanted to go. The part-time program allowed me to start the journey while still holding my day job. It was a perfect introduction" Raj says.

After one session of the program, Raj was inspired and ready to accelerate his career.   "I wanted to fast track my business education and I was excited by the thought of gaining the skills, knowledge and experience within a condensed 16-month period, so I transferred to the full-time program."

The AGSM MBA (Full-Time) program structure is flexible; students can tailor their MBA experience through elective study options and international exchange.

The program offers a blend of applied learning, adaptive leadership, and a high degree of faculty and cohort interaction, paired with opportunities to apply learning to business strategy through simulations, case studies and action learning.

Full-time students meet and work with an exceptionally talented group of individuals from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have global career experience. With over twenty countries represented, a typical cohort represents a very wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds offering a wealth of varied experience, making the program truly international.

An AGSM MBA Full-time program fast-tracks careers, opens doors to new opportunities and builds a network of global professional contacts and life-long friends.

"The program was challenging, exciting and fun and it definitely suited me. It enabled me to very quickly discover what I am passionate about and where my strengths lie."  Raj says.  "It was totally immersive. I have developed an amazing bond with my cohort and forged life-long friends."

On graduation, Raj's career took a whole new direction.  A globally-recognised business education coupled with an engineering background landed him the role of Senior Consultant at Advisian, an advisory firm operating across a range of sectors including Transport, Social Infrastructure, Utilities and Mining.

"My new role is quite different from my former engineering roles and I have been able to make a significant career change in a short amount of time because of the full-time program.

It can be challenging balancing study and a corporate job; if you can make it work, I highly recommend the full-time option."
