UNSW Business School welcomed fifteen new Alumni Leaders to the Alumni Leaders Network in April of 2016. Established in 2003, the Alumni Leaders Network is a specially selected group of UNSW Business School alumni who have made remarkable contributions to the Australian and global business world. This year's cohort was the largest ever, bringing the total number of Alumni Leaders to one-hundred and sixty-seven.

"The majority of the Alumni Leaders we are welcoming this year are women," noted Professor Chris Styles, Dean, UNSW Business School. "This reflects the deliberate strategy we have employed in the last year of identifying and recognising our high achieving female graduates."

The new cohort of Alumni Leaders will act as champions and ambassadors for UNSW Business School and strengthen the School's connection with industry. Alumni Leaders also act as role models for current students.

Many are participating in this year's Alumni Leader's Mentoring Program, including Marina Go, Chair, West Tigers Rugby League, Lucy Brogden, Commissioner, Mental Health Commission, Bernadette Howlett, Partner, Strategy@PwC, Jacki Johnson, Group Executive People, Performance and Reputation at IAG, and Matina Papanthanasiou, Co-Founder & Deputy Head of Global Infrastructure, QIC Capital. Each will be paired with a BCom International student for a three-month mentorship.
