We are thrilled to announce that A/Prof Chris Tisdell has been made a Fellow of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA).

HERDSA is a scholarly society for people committed to the advancement of higher and tertiary education. It promotes the development of higher education policy, practice and the study of teaching and learning. 

A/Prof Tisdell was awarded a Fellowship in recognition of the quality of his educational practice. There are around 30 other Fellows in Australia.

The Fellowship Scheme seeks to improve the quality of educational practice through critical reflection, and to recognise and reward good educational practice. The Fellowship Scheme is for academics or leaders who have made a significant personal commitment to the improvement of teaching and learning in a tertiary education context. 

A/Prof Tisdell says that he is "very excited about this opportunity". We warmly congratulate him on his latest achievement!
